NYC SPEED LIMIT ALERT
As is the law in NJ, starting November 7th, the speed limit on all New York City streets will be 25 MPH, unless otherwise posted. This new speed limit will be enforced by the NYPD and with speed enforcement cameras.
Reminder from the Englewood Police - As we approach the daylight savings time change, please keep pedestrian safety in mind. Remind your friends and fellow congregants that they should be vigilant in their efforts to promote a safe environment. Some of the most important tips are:
Use sidewalks when available (avoid walking in the street)
Walk in well-lit areas
Wear light colored clothing when possible
Use a reflective vest or band when walking
Cross at designated locations or intersections
Election Day is this Tuesday, November 4. We encourage all to vote for the candidates of their choice. There is also an important local election for the Englewood School Board. Since school board elections are decided on a very small number of votes, we encourage you to research the various candidates, make an informed decision and cast your vote. Your vote will absolutely count. Polling stations are open until 8pm.
