Congregation Shomrei Emunah is a small, warm, Orthodox synagogue located in the
beautiful and scenic town of Englewood, NJ, just a 20 minute ride away from
downtown Manhattan. The sanctuary has a beautifully elegant, but simple,
design. Our congregation aims to uphold the moral and spiritual values of
halacha that are inherent in Orthodox Judaism.

Under the leadership of our Morah D’asrah, Rabbi Menachem Genack, who is also
the Head of Kashrus for the Orthodox Union, our shul continues to be a vital
resource for meeting the challenges of contemporary Jewish life.
We pride ourselves on having a davening that is focused on the prayers and,
generally, free of side conversations. Children’s groups are available during
Shabbat services. The shul offers shiurim delivered by the Rav and has an
active Sisterhood organization.
The Englewood Jewish community has daily minyanim, a beautiful Mikveh, an Eruv,
a thriving Yeshiva day school, a Yeshiva High School, a chevra kadisha and
numerous shiurim that meet a broad spectrum of abilities and needs.
